One of my favorite stalls at the Farmers Market is the tamale stand. You can enjoy a hot steaming tamale with salsa roja there, or take some home and serve with the fresh vegetables picked up at the market: micro greens drizzled with olive oil and sea salt, and my fresh pico de gallo.

  2. Favorite farmer’s market item? Hmmm. We’re so lucky here in So Cal, that’s a hard one. I’d have to say when the stone fruits, peaches, pluots, etc are perfect it just can’t be beat. Todd

  3. Those flower bouquets are so beautiful (and cheap!) I bought 6 tulips today at WalMart for $5! It is not warm enough here for local flowers yet. Our farmer’s market doesn’t open until the first Saturday in May (and then it’s quite sparse) but I’m waiting!
