One of my favorite stalls at the Farmers Market is the tamale stand. You can enjoy a hot steaming tamale with salsa roja there, or take some home and serve with the fresh vegetables picked up at the market: micro greens drizzled with olive oil and sea salt, and my fresh pico de gallo.

  1. Finding this cuisine here is rare and not regular. When you walk into our market you can instantly smell pea meal bacon on a bun. It’s pretty hard to resist – I have to keep telling myself it’s loaded with sodium and really bad for you.

  2. omg – signs of spring! could it be? those pictures are bringing a tear to my eye. right now i would say my fave thing to buy at a farmers market would be any veg that you can only buy in the spring months. i’m DYING for spring to arrive here. i can barely stand it anymore. i can’t wait to see green – at the farmers market or in my backyard!

  3. A day at the Farmer’s Market is a gift to yourself! Everything is fresh, colorful and enticing!! Love the pictures of the flowers too ๐Ÿ™‚
